Collision at Wellington.
DAMAGE TO THE ELINGAMITE. DETENTION FOR REPAIRS. . [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Wellington, last night. While coming 4o the wharf this afternoon the steamer Karamea collided with the stern of the steamer Elingatnite, doing considerable damage to the railing aud smashing a number of hawsers. The Elingamite’s departure for the North has been postponed until to-morrow morning to permit of repairs being effected. .
