EARTH TREMOR,
Per Press Association —Copyright. Wellington, Inst night. A sharp earth tremor was felt here at 5.30 this afternoon. INVALIDED TROOPERS.
The steamer Karamea arrived here from Loudon to-day, via Capetown and Hobart. She brings a contingent of invalided New Zealanders, whose natues were telegraphed last Monday. There was no demonstration. BROACHING CARGO.
On the arrival of the Ivuramea two firemen were placed under arrest for broaching cargo.
