They assert that it threatens injury to Russia. French newspapers ascribe the AngloGerman entente to th cKaiser’s need of British support until the completion of his navy. In conferring the Order of the Garter on the Crown Prince of Germany, the King said ho hoped to further cement and strengthen the feeling between Germany and Great Britain, so that they might be enabled to go hand-in-hand to promote the civilisation and peace of the world.

He also thanked the Kaiser for coming at a moment's notice to assist to tend and watch over the late Queen.
