BUIIDETT-COUTTS’ CHARGES.

The report of the Hospital Commission set up in consequence of Mr BurdettCoutts' charges, published in the limes, exonerates the Army Medical Corps, and suggests that the Corps be increased, it recommends the appointment of a committee of experts with a view to suggesting improvements, including the undertaking of sanitary duties. The report adds that, while there were serious laches, there was no scandal associated with the treatment of the sick and wounded, no general or widespread neglect of patients, or indifference to their sufferings.
