Rotorua Sanatorium.
BATHING REGULATIONS. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, Saturday. The dissatisfaction with the new bathing regulations at Rotorua was fully inquired into on the spot by Mr Donne, railway traffic manager, who reported to Mr Ward. Mr Donne has been appointed to take full charge of our tourist and health resorts, and left for Wellington on Tuesday last to confer with Mr Ward as to the duties of the office.
Wellington, last uight. • Mr Donne reported to Mr Ward on the Rotorua baths grievances, and recommends that the wishes of the majority concerned should be respected and the use of garments when bathing in public baths be prohibited. Those who object to nude bathing have the option of the private baths. Mr Donne thinks it inadvisable to make any increase of tha charges without providing improved accommodation or other compensating, advantages. He recommends that the former charges be in part again acepted, and the charge for towels abolished, but that private baths be charged for at an advance of 25 per cent on the charges for public baths. In all probability Mr T. E. Donne, who is to have oharge of the tourist branch of the Railway Department, will also be appointed Secretary of the Depart* meat o( Industries and Commerce,
