Champion, of Wellington, won the half-mile New Zealand amateur championshin in 14min 17sec, breaking the standard by liiiin ISsecs. The First-class Yacht Bace resulted as follows: Rainbow, Auckland, 1; Yv aitangi, Wellington, 2 ; Yvonne, Lyttelton, 8. Rainbow led throughout, winning easily. Handicap Yacht Race : Fleetwing 1, Kawhai 2, Beltina 3; there was a large field. Maiden Double Sculls, stumps : Cure, Kaiapoi, 1, Akaroa 2, Wellington 3. Senior Double Sculls, stumps: Amateur 1, Canterbury 2, Lyttelton 3. Youths’ Double Sculls, stumps: Christchurch Amateur 1, Union 2, Canterbury 3. Ship’s-boat-Rowinc ; Timaru 1, Tekoa 2.
