Canadian Visitor Studies N.Z. Sheep I Mainly for the purpose of studying ; the Dominion’s experimental procedure in regard to sheep, Mr. S. V. Williams, officer in charge of sheep investigations at the Central Experimental Farm, Ottawa, is spending a few days at the Ruakura Animal Research Station. Mr. Williams has been already in the Dominion for about two months and he remarked in an interview in Hamilton that he had learned things of considerable interest since I he had been in the country. He had found Ruakura a "wonderful" place in | many ways and was very interested in 1 the fact that at Ruakura the property i had been divided into different farms' on which particular problems were be- ] ing investigated. The research officer | in charge of each farm was left to ‘‘work out his own salvation” and did not have to worry about the station | as a whole.
