RETIRED MINISTER FATALLY INJURED
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 4. A retired Methodist minister suffered fatal injuries when he was knocked down by a car at Takapuna on Saturday evening. He was: Rev. William Wills, aged 78, married of Belmont. Devonport. An ambulance answered the call and on finding Wills was seriously injured called the ambulance headquarters and arrangements were made to hold the vehicular ferry at Devonport.
The patient was met by another ambulance at Auckland and rushed to hospital. He had received concussion and a fractured skull and died yesterday morning.
