MARRIED WOMAN KILLED IN CRASH OF CAR AT WANGANUI

(P.A.) WANGANUI, Sept. 4. A woman was killed when the car in which she was a passenger capsized on the Durie Vale Road early yesterday morning. She was:

Mrs. Kathleen Beatrice McGonagle, aged 35, of Wanganui.

Her husband was also a passenger in the car which was driven by Mrs. Kathleen O’Leary of Te Awamutu, a sister-in-law of Mrs. McGonagle.

The accident happened shortly before 1.45 a.m., the car having been driven out of Portal Street into Durie Vale Road where it apparently became out of control. Travelling down a- grade it ran into a bank on the right hand side and overturned.

Mrs. McGonagle is the mother of three young children.
