School Sites Obtained In Outer Kaiti

The Hawke’s Bay Education Board has acquired a number of properties in outer Kaiti for a school site, according to advice received at the Gisborne Borough Council’s meeting last night. This, it was stated on behalf of the board, rendered unnecessary the construction of Nobel and Maxim Streets The town clerk, Mr. W. M. Jenkins, said there had not been any requests for the areas to be formed. It was agreed to offer the streets for sale to the board subject to them being closed.
