ENLISTED MEN'S TERM EXTENDED

/ WASHINGTON, July 25. The House of Representatives today nassed a bill requiring servicemen to serve an extra year. It affects 300.000 men whose enlistments are due to expire in the coming 12 months. The bill now goes to President Truman for signature. The House also passed a bill removing all Congressional limits on the size of the armed forces now fixed by law at 2.005,882. It still needs the Senate's approval.
