Most observers predict that a 'decision to send troops is likely. The Importance which American opinion attaches to the representative nature of the United Nations’ force actually engaged in Korea is believed to have weighed heavily in the Cabinets arguments. A hard offer at least of a force, however small, seems indicated ijj the light of American opinion transmitted to London since M.
