BETTER SURFACE WANTED

Permission to lay an area of bitumen adjacent to their factory at 199 Grey Street was sought from the Gisborne Borough Council last night by Messrs. Grundy and Scott. Limited. The pronosed area covered 10 feet on either side of the existing concrete runway and from th edge of the road to the footpath, the level to be that of the present runway, they stated.
