G. Elliott's Form

The Old Boys skipper and side row forward, G. Elliott, who has been knocking on the door of selection in the P.B. representative team for some time this season may at last have been granted entry. Elliott’s form on the side of the scrum for Old Bovs in their victorious match with the current championship winners, H. 5.0.8. (A), was outstanding. His displays this year have been well up to standard and a position for him in the P.B. team to tour Wairarapa. Manawatu and Hawke’s Bay in the middle of next month seems assured. Elliott is not new to Poverty Bav teams, having represented the union at odd before.
