POWER FAILURE INTERRUPTS BILLIARDS

(PA.) AUCKLAND. .July 26. A further session in the Australian and New Zealand amateur billiards championship was played yesterday afternoon between T. Cleary (Australia) and A. Bull (Australia). Cleary led at the bell by 738 points to 605. Cleary, who averaged 29 per cue, made a break of 123. Bull's best break was 100 and his average was 23.5. There was no play last night because of a power failure. The match is to be completed at a session late this afternoon.
