Te Karaka Obtains Savings Quota

The annual objective of £2860 in national savings for the Te Karaka postal district was attained last week, leaving only Opotiki in this area to obtain a similar success. The annual quota of £2OB for Motu has been more than doubled.

During the week just ended investments in the Gisborne district amounted to £5568. Of this sum £3627 was deposited at Gisborne, £493 at Opotiki, £2Ol at Motu, £254 at Ruatoria, £405 at Te Karaka. £386 at Te Puia Springs. £62 at Tikitiki, and £439 at Tokomaru Bay.
