By scoring four tries in a club match on Saturday P. Griffin, Marist Club full-back, eclipsed the recent performance of the Wellington full-back, J. A. Phillips. Sport statistics show no comparable performance by a full-back in New Zealand Rugby. It is possible that Griffin's feat may be classed as a record.
