LONDON, June 23.
The West German Parliament today voted in favour of the Government being asked to forbid the manufacture of war toys and urged the Allies to stop their soldiers giving such toys to German children, says the Associated Press correspondent in Bonn. “Our struggle against militarism should begin at home.” said Frau Maria Dietz, one of the sponsors of the war toy ban. She complained that toys help to instil a warlike spirit into youngsters. Dr. Hugo Decker wanted to permit the manufacture of war toys for export. “Do you think the Americans will stno using tov tanks just because we will not send them any?” he asked.
