YOUNG MAN’S FATAL CONTACT WITH CIRCUIT

(P.A.) PALMERSTON N„ June 24. While reconnecting power supply to a circular saw at Levin yesterday a young man came in contact with a 230volt circuit and was killed instantly. He was.

Mr. Edward Ward Willcox, aged 24, single, of Levin. Mr. Willcox was employed by Mr. Collis Wood, merchant of Levin. The accident occurred in a yard about 2.30 p.m. Apparently the deceased, who had just moved the saw-bench, was reconnecting a power cable and it is surmised that a file he had in his hand made contact with a live section of the flex. Mr. Willcox only recently became engaged to be married.
