MR. AND MRS. H. F. WISE TO LEAVE SHORTLY ON TOUR OF U.S. & BRITAIN

Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Wise, Gisborne, leave on Tuesday, April 14, on six months’ tour of the United States and Great Britain.

They are to leave Auckland by ’plane for America, and will spend a few- days en route in Honolulu. After their tour of the United States, including a holiday of 10 days in New York, they will leave by ’plane on May 7 and plan to arrive at London for the opening of the British Industries Fair on May 8. Their present intinerary makes provision for a stay of about eight weeks in England, before leaving to spend about a month on the Continent,

Dr. Wise is anxious to visit Sweden to study advanced public health methods. They are to spend about a week in Dublin.

While in England they plan to visit several music festivals, including those at Bath and Edinburgh, and will return via the Suez Canal. They are due back at Gisborne in September after spending a week in Australia. • Mr. Wise, who is a member of the Gisborne Rotary Club, is to visit a number of Rotary* clubs in the various countries. The first will be the Waikiki Rotai-y Club in Honolulu, at which he will be a guest speaker, The tour is a combined holiday ana business one.
