Commission Visits H.B.

Headed by its chairman, Judge Goldstein, the Local Government Commission is visiting Hawke’s Bay. It arrived unexpectedly and has since been having a look around the district. The visit is only of a preliminary character which will make it possible for the commission to acquaint itself with geographical and other features of the area which is later to be the subject o£ a more thorough investigation.
