“ASTRA” & “JAYCEES” PRESENT HYPNOTISM AT ITS BEST
The public of Gisborne are assured of an outstanding performance on Tuesday, April 4, at the Opera House by “Astra” as presented by the members of the Junior Chamber of Commerce in aid of the funds for the new Heni Materoa Children’s —Home. “Astra,” who was born in Melbourne 35 years ago, has developed hypnotism to a fine art. After continuous study for 10 years, this Australian-born hypnotist used his powers first for mind-reading and mental telepathy and then advanced into the deeper side of hypnotism for treating psychoneurosis, which has met with great success on co-operative patients. The performance at the Opera House is a break into the more humorous side and a great deal of work has prepared a fine show away from the usual type.
It has been stated that “Astra’s” performance will be one to remember, and the “.Taycees” are expecting a caacity house.
