CHINESE SEEKING RETURN OF FORCES IN INDO-CHINA

HONG KONG, March 17. Negotiations for the repatriation of Chinese troops detained in French IndoChina have been proceeding between the Nationalist and French Governments, but no agreement so far has been reached.

This was disclosed today by the Nationalist Foreign Minister, Mr. George Yeh, quoted by the Central news agency. The agency also reported the appointment of General Sun Li-jen, garrison commander of Formosa ns Commander-in-Chief of the Nationalist Army and General Chou Cheh-jou, Commandcr-in-Ghief of the Air Forces as Chief of the General Staff.
