BOY’S ARM TORN OFF IN MISHAP IN SHEARING SHED

(P.A.) TIMARU, Match 20. lan Maxwell, aged 13, suffered the loss of his right arm which was torn off a little below the shoulder blade on Saturday morning when a piece of rope he had coiled over the arm was caught in tire shaft of a shearing machine on his father’s farm at Beautiful Valley, Geraldine. The boy was admitted to the Timaru Hospital. His condition is reported to be be satisfactory.
