WOMAN CUTS HUSBAND'S BODY INTO 200 PIECES
PARIS. Jan. 15. A tinv 6st. woman, aged 50 years, vesterday told Paris police chiefs that she killed her Gft. husband, cut him into 200 pieces and spread the bits over 30 miles.
She is sft. 3in, grey-haired Madame Amehe Rabilloud, and her storv is a climax to a month-long murder hunt. First a human foot was found in a freight car. Then an earless head was found in a wood. Later part of a chest was unearthed.
Madame Rabilloud took a sketch map when she went to the police with her confession. In it she marked the points where she had hidden pieces of her husband’s body and todav the police are carrying out an extensive search for more remains. Madame Rabilloud said she decided iust before Christmas to murder her husband, because of a sudden feeling that she could not tolerate .being married to him any longer. She said she hit him on the head with a hammer as he was sitting reading a paper. Knife and Axe Used j, The police said that she cut up thK body with a kitchen knife and an axe. She then washed and painted the splashed walls of the kitchen to remove the blood. “I mutilated the head so that its would be unrecognisable,” Madamgf said. The police said that she confessed after three days of questioning. They added that she apparently did not realise the seriousness of her crime and had complained of bad publicity about “my adventure with my mean husband, who used to hit me when he was angry.” Amelia said the mistake she madd was in not hiding the remains more carefully. “I am prepared to be gull* lotined for this,” she said.
