PILMER WINS WARD CUP

MATAWAI BOWLS

The annual tournament for the Ward Memorial Cup was played on the Matawai bowling green on Saturday. There were 20 entries, making five teams, and after many close games, J. Pilmer ran out the winner, beating A. Bulst, 12-9, giving the former team three and a half wins to three. The teams and results were:—
