Revised Itinerary For N.Z. Tour By British Rugby Team
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 17. The members of the British Rugby team to tour New Zealand and Australia will receive rcfreschmonts allowance of £2 10s weekly. The executive of the N.Z.R.U. was advised to this effect yesterday. New Zealand suggested that tire allowance be £3 10s weekly. This compared with 35s weekly received by players during the tour of South Africa. It was also advised that the British team would be selected on February 12.
Consequent on changes in the original plans for the touring side a new "itinerary for the British tour has been drafted. This is subject to confirmation by (lie council of the N.Z.R.U.. which meets on February 23 when tiie venue of the match against N.Z. Maoris, provisionally set down for Hamilton, will also be discussed. The provisional itinerary is:May 10: v. Nelson-Marlborough-Goldcn Bay, at Nelson. May 13: v. Bullet-, at Westport. May 17: v. West Coast, at Greymouth. May 20: v. Otago, at Dunedin. ' May 23 (Tuesday): v. Southland, at Invercargill. May 27: First Test, at Dunedin. May 31: v. South Canterbury, at Timaru June 3: v Canterbury, at Christchurch. June 6 (Tuesday) v. Ashburton-North Otago .at Ashburton. June 10: Second Test at Christchurch. June 14: v. Wairarapa-Bush at Masterton. June 17: v. Hawke’s Bay, al Napier. •Tune 21: v. Poverty Bay - East CoastBav of Plentv, at Gisborne. •Tune 24: v Auckland, at Auckland. July 1: Third Test, at Auckland.
July 5: v. North Auckland, at Whanga-
July 8: v. Waikato - King CountryThames Valley, at Hamilton. July 12: v. N.Z. Maoris, at Hamilton. July 15: v. Manawatu-Horowhenua, at Palmerston North. July 19: v. Wanganui, at Wanganui. July 22: v. Australia, at Brisbane: August 26, v. Australia, at Sydney; August 30 v. N.S W at Newcastle.
