PILLION RIDER HURT FATALLY IN SMASH AT INTERSECTION
(P.A.) TIMARU. Sept. 3. A collision at an intersection between a motor car and a motor cycle carrying a pillion rider resulted in the deatli of the pillion rider who was admitted to the Timaru Public Hospital suffering from severe concussion and a possible fracture of the skull. He was Mr. Ivan Raymond Pierce, aged 21,
single, of 10 Norwood street, Timaru. The driver of the motor cycle, Mr. Albert Russell Perry Wederell, aged 28, married, of G Cliff street, Timaru, was treated at the hospital for minor injuries. The driver of the car, Master Douglas Moore, aged 19, of Sarah street, Timaru, and his passenger were uninjured.
