Seven Die In U.S.

Army Plane Crash (11 a.m.) JUNEAU (Alaska), Sept. 4. Seven airmen were killed when a United States Army transport crashed into an inlet near the port of Anchorage. The plane was based at an Alaskan air depot at Elmendorf Field and crashed 15 minutes after taking off from the airport.
