Experts To Frame World Convention On Agricultural Work

GENEVA, Sept. 1. Thirty - two International Labour Office experts began work today on what may be the framework of a new world convention for agricultural workers.

The meeting is under the chairmanship of Mr. E. G. Gooch, president of the British National Union of Agricultural Workers.

It is expected that the experts will submit resolutions to the labour office governing body on hours of work, security of employment, medical examinations of recruits and the extension of social security to agricultural workers.
