TROPHY SERIES OF GISBORNE MIN. RIFLE CLUB

There was an excellent attendance at the Gisborne Miniature Rifle Club last Saturday evening for the second round of the No. 5 trophy series.

In the A Grade Miss Sutcliffe narrowly defeated A. Thomas. Both of these members returned scores of 99 off-the-rifle. Miss Sutcliffe having six central bulls, against four scored by Thomas.

The B Grade ladder badge resulted in a tie between B. Clark and H. Parata. both members shooting 97.5. M Black headed the handicap list for this grade by returning his best target to date. The air-rifle competition was won outright by A. Campbell, who shot the only possible of the evening. T. Lamberton won the shoot-off for last week’s prize.
