BELGIAN POST FOR EX-PRIME MINISTER
(11 a.m.) BRUSSELS, Aug. 11. The new Catholic Liberal Coalition Government was sworn in by Prince Charles, the Belgian Regent, today. Prince Charles appointed Mr. Spaak, the retiring Socialist Premier and Foreign Minister, as Minister of State. Mr. Spaak, who has no place in the new Coalition Government, was earlier todav elected President of the new European Assembly at Strasbourg.
