CHEAP RADAR
LONDON. A British firm has designed the first radar set cheap enough to be fitted to small craft. It costs £ISOO sterling and has a range of half a mile to 25 miles. H will enable tugs, trawlers, coasters, and bigger vessels to move safely at night and in fog through packed rivers and harbours. , D »ls of fight on the radar screen show the position »nd size of other craft around.
