TEST TUBE' BABY’S MOTHER FILES DIVORCE SUIT
NEW YORK, June 12.
Mrs. Julie Strnad, mother of a test tube daughter, has filed a suit for divorce from her husband, Mr. Antoine Strnad. a 42-year-old New York chauffeur. The 32-year-old mother has had comDlete custody of the child, Antoinette, who is aged six, since September, when she obtained a legal separation. -• Mrs. Strnad. in her divorce petition, claimed that since the child’s birth was the result of artificial insemination, she alone is the parent and her husband has no rights as a parent. Her petition alleges that her husband became extremely jealous because he knew her child was not his own.
