NEW SPEED LIMIT NOT FOR TRAILERS
Although the speed limit for motorists has been raised 1o 50 miles an hour, this does not apply to vehicles with trailers, the Gisborne office of the Automobile Association (Auckland) points out in commenting on complaints of high speeds by this class of road user. Regulation 17 of the Road Code lays down the speed limit at 35 m.p.h. •
