SYRIAN BAN ON EXPORTS TO LEBANON

DAMASCUS, May 18. Syria has ordered the stoppage of all exports of foodstuffs to Lebanon as from noon today. This is a reprisal for Lebanon’s refusal to hand over to the Syrian Government four men who are alleged to have killed Kamel Hussayn, who was suspected of spying for the Jews. . Syria claimed that Hussayn was killed within the Syrian Army’s sphere of action.
