MUNICH RIOTING AS JEWS HUNT FOR KILLER

MUNICH, May 18

Riots broke out in Munich today as hysterical groups of displaced Jews searched for a Greek Jew alleged to have murdered one of their group last night on the autobahn near Munich. Squads brandishing sticks and stones rode through the city, stopping at restaurants, dance halls and other places used by Greek Jews. A number of persons were beaten severely, but no deaths are reported. The situation is tense and the military police have been ordered to stand by.
