CARDINAL MINDSZENTY “CRITICALLY ILL”

(11 a.m.) ROME, May 13. The Vatican radio station, in a special broadcast, claimed today that Cardinal Mindszenty, Roman Catholic Primate of Hungary, who is in prison, was “critically ill and losing his mind.” The broadcast said that the news had been reecived from a Hungarian doctor who had recently arrived in Rome- The doctor had been ordered to visit Cardinal Mindszenty.
