LADIES’ GOLF CLUB SEASON BEGINS WELL

Some very good scores were returned bv 70 players who took part in a Canadian foursomes on the opening day of the Poverty Bay Ladies’ Golf Club. The winners were Mesdames W. M. Mclldowie and L. Mitchell, with 68 net, followed by Mesdames T. Munro and J. Crawford-Smith with 69. Players were welcomed to the links by the club captain, Mrs. W. D. Morley.
