DRIVER INJURED FATALLY IN ROLL OF GRADER DOWN BANK

(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH. April 7. Fatal iniuries were received yesterday bv the driver of a Works Department grader. He was: Mr. Kenneth James Fraser, aged 32 years, of Marae street. Taumarunui. He was married and had one child.

The grader he was driving left the road and rolled down a bank at Tansitu, about six miles from Waimiha at 5.30 p.m. yesterday. Mr. Fraser was driving the grader towards Tangitu from Waimiha when the accident occurred. It is not known what caused the machine to leave the road. The iniuries received by Mr. Fraser were so severe that he died soon afterwards.
