Third Auckland Wool Cheque Over Over £1,500,000
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, April G. The gross proceeds from wool sold at the third Auckland sale in January were £1,551,521, according to figures issued by the secretary of the Auckland Woolbrokers’ Association, Mr. J. E. Connor. This exceeds the figure for the second Auckland sale by more than £550,000. Of the total of 43,485 bales offered, 43,463 bales were disposed of, the net weight being 14,813.9711 b. The average price a bale was £35 13s lid against £33 Cs in November and the average price per lb. 25.14 d against 24.13 d,
