SUBURBAN SHOPS: RESTRICTION DELETED

"Under the provisions of the townplanning scheme it is provided that shops in suburban local shopping areas be set back 15ft. from the street frontage, to permit of customers’ vehicles being parked clear of the main thoroughfare,” reported the town-planning committee of the Gisborne Borough Council, at last night’s meeting of the council.
