MANAWATU TO TOUR SOUTH ISLAND
(P.A.) PALMERSTON N„ April 6. The Manawatu Rugby Union last night decided to make a tour of the South Island this year and lodge a challenge for the Ranfurly Shield. This will be the first tour by a Manawatu side since 1937.
