FORTY REBELS GIVEN DEATH SENTENCE BY GREEK ARMY COURT

ATHENS, April 3. A military tribunal sentenced 28 guerrillas to death on charges ranging from sabotage and killing to participating in armed Communist bands. The guerrillas were captured during the recent operations in the Peloponessus area.

Also sentenced to death were 12 saboteurs, members of Opia, a Communist execution squad. The military tribunal found them guilty of setting fire to a Government garage near Athens.
