New Airways Schedule Commeuces

As from yesterday, Gisborne will be well-served by passenger aircraft to and from the main centres of New Zealand.

With the new schedule brought into effect by National Airways Corporation yesterday, travellers from Gisborne will be able to reach practically anywhere in the Dominion in the one day. Two aircraft each day now fly south from Gisborne, one going direct to Wellington and the other stopping at Napier and Palmerston North. Two machines also fly north to Auckland .one landing at Tauranga. There are a corresponding number of services inwards to Gisborne. Early indications are that all these services will be well patronised. - '
