Chain Insignia For Butchers’ President
(P.A.) NAPIER, Mar. 28. The New Zealand Master Butchers’ Federation today became the first trade organisation in the Dominion to have an official insignia of office for the president.
At the opening session of the federation’s annual conference today, the insignia—a presidential chain carrying plaques with the names of all past presidents—was bestowed on the president. Mr. J. W. Perry, Auckland, by Mr. J. E. Bartlett, a former president of the Otago Master Butchers’ Association. The chain was presented by the Otago association.
