AUSTRALIAN OPINION OF TOP N.Z. ATHLETES

(P.A.) - AUCKLAND, Mar. 10. Neil Wilson, middle-distance runner, Bevan Hough, the broad jumper, of Auckland, and Len Smith, hurdler, of Wellington, are New Zealand’s best athletic prospects in the opinion of Mr. R. E. Graham, the manager of the Australian touring athletic team. There was no saying what heights Wilson might reach if properly handled, said Mr. Graham yesterday.

“We have had a great time on the tour,” Mr. Graham said. “The organising has been first class. Winning or losing was a secondary consideration. We feel there has been mutual benefit from the competition throughout New Zealand.”
