Aircraft Delayed

With bad weather conditions extending over the whole of the Auckland Province on Tuesday, internal aircraft were delayed on the routes north of Gisborne.

Only one flight from Gisborne had to be postponed, however, this being the Gisborne-Auckland direct machine, which arrived at Darton Field too late to be dispatched for Auckland with a reasonable opportunity of arriving at the northern terminus in daylight. This aircraft left Gisborne for Auckland at C. 30 a.m. yesterday. The machine from Auckland to Gisborne direct, which was due at 6 p.m., arrived at Darton Field at 7 p.m. with little daylight to spare. All aircraft had resumed their , normal running yesterday.
