CENTRE CHAMPION OF CHAMPION PAIRS ON SATURDAY

BOWLS

The annual tournament for the Gisborne-East Coast Bowling Centre’s champion of champion pairs will be nlaved on the Kahutia Bowling Club's greens on Saturday. Plav will commence at 8.45 p.m. and will be on the two-life system. The umpire will be Mr. H. E. Powell.

The champion pairs who will be representing the various clubs are: Te Karaka. —Seniors: A. Hay and H. Lougher (s). Intermediate: F. Goodley and C. G. Atkins (s).

Wairoa.—Seniors: W. Bainbridge and R. Stewart (s). Intermediate: McLean and Signal (s). Tolaga Bay.—Seniors: I. H. Meikle and V. Plurlstone (s). Intermediate: O. C-. James and A. Donald (s).
