SYDNEY, Mar. 5. If Soviet forces, in pursuit of aggreslors. entered Australia, Australian workers would welcome them, said Mr. L. L. Sharkey, general secretary of the Communist Party in Australia. He said he spoke for other Communists in Australia. He added: “I gUDDort the statements made by the French Communist leader. M. Maurice Thorez. Australian workers would welcome Soviet forces pursuing aggres- * . sors as workers welcomed them throughout Europe when Red troops liberated the people from the power of the Nazis."
